To keep the truck from setting off the alarm you need to set the rubber stoppers so that the trunk sits higher after it is released.

is this like Jeopardy? "What is the answer to the question that nobody asked?" Also, what truck are you talking about that has a trunk?

if you hit the trunk release on the fob itll sometimes honk if the doors are locked. that happened to me when i first got it but not much anymore. maybe if its started with the remote start it does that with the doors locked. i dunno and dont really care. just hit the unlock button first lazy fingers.

weird. using the remote has never given me so much as a dirty look, regardless if the car is locked or unlocked.

I guess if you were to read further than this post you would understand. This gentelman has had trouble with his trunk and seatbelt lights along with IIRC is his airbag light? not sure, but dont judge a man by his post, instead ask why and how.

Jeopardy? THIS! ISSS! JEOPARDY!!!!!.....Hehehe

Actually there is more to add. The spring loaded rubber stopper is also an issue. The shaft is made out of plastic Further more it can have some looss movement. If the shaft starts to bend it'll jam up with the trunk latch and not spring the trunk lid up high enough to trip the switch. The shaft can be removed by depressing it and relesing it while pulling way from the striker. The plastic shaft can be bent back to straight.

Sorry for being so vauge. This is a problem that has affected some of the people on the board. Where the alarm goes off when you relese the truck.
