Guys he is running G5X3 camshaft, mild porting on a set of 241's,stock shortblock,Edelbrock dual plane Victor intake. We are wondering what is a good carb for this setup. I see a 750 Holly is recommended above any other thoughts from guys who have converted? Thanks alot we really appreciate the input i'll get pics of the swap up on here for you guys to check out. The LS1 looks pretty sick in the engine bay of the '81.

I am in the process of doing an ls1/t56 swap into an fc rx7 and I am going with this intake. The carbs I have been researching were Holley 750 and an edelbrock 750, I will prolly go with the edelbrock just for ease and peace of mind. I know you can get a few more ponies from the Holley, but the just set it and forget it part of the edelbrock is nice.

depending on your weight, an 850 is going to be a couple of hundreths faster at the track, but a 750 is going to be much more responsive driving around.
i run a 750HP on a 6.0 235/237 599/602 cam.
love it.
