I was just up there on vacation and i know they do emissions testing and saftey inspection. However it is nowhere near as strict as where your coming from. FWIW in Oklahoma there is no inspections of any kind required for your vehicle.

The KC area does not have sniffer testing. Only a safety inspection that will basically look to see if you have cats, check your brakes, lights, wipers and tires. If they are all good, you won't have a problem.

If you are in MO we have both inspections. But if you are coming from cali you should have cats.

There is no sniffer in MO so if you are tuned with no cats you should be fine. You will just have trouble getting around the safety inspection. (Cats are required in safety inspection)

no we do not do the sniffer in STL the plug the computer into the PCM and check the emissions from the o2s. No service engine lights and you will pass.

same hear, i'm an inspector as well, we do not have a "sniffer" nor does anyone around here. Just a safefy inspection for suspension and wheels, etc. We do check exhaust however, but just for funtion. Not emmisions
