Default 187mph with 85mm inlet turbo

Just thought some of you might be interested in what we ran this weekend. We run the OSCA here and run in ez street, we set a mph record in the class
in a bad DA and very hot. This car raced memphis last year in drag radial.
Our rules state that you have to run no more than an 85mm inlet on the turbo, the car weighed in at 3460 race weight and was running back to back 7.90s at 187mph with a 1.40 short.
Can't wait to hit Memphis this year with the 106mm!!!!

That probably would of been me, I ran 9.20s@155 with that car in 2001 and drove it to work every day.

Killer numbers! Im assuming it is bushed down to an 85mm inlet, what is the actual inducer?

MPH really means nothing w/out knowing the specifics on the turbo.

Most EZ street guys unless your in ORSCA, can run 85mm inlet, but can go up to 106mm inducer on the wheel. The inlet doesn't really hurt power much at all.

I was leading in that direction. I just want to know why 187mph is important with a 85mm inlet when the inducer and exducer can be huge...? In a nutshell what makes this post important?

Is it a 85/98, /101 or /106?

So what's new Wade, is Andre's car still out and about with the new owner?
