Default For those with TSP ORY

I ordered a TSP ory with my pacesetters and by the pics of the ory, it looks like the end part of the y that connects to the catback is reduced a little so that the catback pipe slips over it. I have a new magnaflow quad tip catback going in at the same time and the part that connects to the Y is also reduced. Isn't one supposed to slip into the other? Does the magnaflow slip in over the y or vice versa? Help!

Yes, the catback is supposed to slip over the y-pipe..like how the stock setup is.

I wonder why both of them are reduced, hopefully the catback pipe is a little bigger and goes over the Y
I'm really trying to avoid muffler shops at all costs. They have hacked my previous exhaust systems plenty times.
This is my third exhaust system and I'm not letting anyone touch it lol
