2.73's to 3.42's
1998 z28 A4 with 2.73 Gears (GU2)
I have a set of oem 3.42's out of a 6 speed car. looking to put these gears in the 2.73 rear end, i am aware of the carrier differences Series 2 and Series 3. My question am i able to use a Ring Gear spacer? Ive tried finding a used rearend or a series 3 carrier without any luck. I am a college student on a very tight budget, so buying a new series 3 carrier is out of the question.
