Default Moser 12 bolt Problems

this is a 4 channel ls1 moser 12 bolt.... going into a 3 channel lt1 car. i cannot reach the backing plate bolts. i have also read that even if i can reach them, it might not work.

should i just grind a socket down, or is there a tool i can buy?...... or just buy ls1 rear brakes and backing plates?

the whole mess...

^^^ x2 if you have a 3 channel originally, and you are not using the 4 channel setup remove the ABS rings. Problem solved.

Default ABS Fix

Jaws is correct on removing the ABS rings. There is two ways of getting this to work; The first would be to remove the rings and have an access hole drilled into the axle flange so a socket could be inserted to gain access to the nuts, this would require removing the bearings. If the bearings are new I would not reuse the press rings, if the bearings are used replace both. The second would be to machine the caliper bracket to relieve the material surrounding the nut (as shown in the picture below).
