for my "M6", i'm looking at the hoosier because of its 26.4" height (255/50/16), or should i get the 26.11.5 ET street, There is only a .2" diff between the 2, 82 cir. vs. 83 cir., they are going on my salad shooters, i'll most likely buy the ones that get the highest responce, if i get any lol. I know the Bias will re-cover faster then the DR, but if the Hoosier DRs will work great too, i'll go with them. Mods are in sig., this will be N/A.

iw ould go with the DR if i were u... i have heard some mixed things about the et streets

The ET streets hook like mad. However, they do have the "slick walk". In other words they will give a little feeling of going side to side as you go down the track. It is not as noticable in the Camaro but the GTO feels like it's going to go sideways. DR's don't seem to do this. just my $.02
PS they DO NOT spinat all at the track.

I'm looking at them both, either the Hoosier DR, or the ET street, the only issue with the bias is it'll need more of a burnout to heat them up & stick, where the radial won't need much, plus i'll be running less air for the ET streets (around 12-14lbs.) & possibly need tubes too, i was told at my power level the DRs should work fine & hook well, just wish i could fined a cheap set from someone lol.

I have used Hoosier DRs for many years and like them a lot at the track.....However, I hate them on the street. I was caught in the rain a few years ago and it was a white-Knuckle ride.

I've also thought about the BFG's, are they worth a hoot, the price is alot cheaper at 150.00 each then the other DRs.

I'm not going to run them going to the track, i'll just swap out when i get there, this way they last longer, who else would have good prices on these tires besides Mccormack Racing?

the et streets are more consistent then a drag radial on an m6 car. I ran the m/t drag radials and was quicker on a good track but it would either spin bad or bog. No inbetween. Et streets can hase out a little and still run good. i still ran 16 lbs in my et streets and hooked great.

I run some 255 et streets on salad shooters and they get me 1.6 60's everytime. I run them on the street every now and then and they hook pretty amazing on there as well, no issues ever with slick walk . My roomate has some BFG's on his Cobra and they dont seem to work out all that well for him. I actually bought the rims and tires used on here for $180, look around maybe you can find a nice deal.

for an automagic yes, for a standard the bias ply will be more predictable.
I have ran my best times on drag radials but never could repeat it if I left at 6000 rpm's plus.

If you are not going to rev hight to leave them go drag radial.

With this Moser 9", i'm wanting to test the waters some, so i'm sure i'll be trying some 5500+ dumps if needed, i'm thinking i'll just go with the ET streets, i've run them before & liked them, i'm sure there won't be much " side too side drift" with a 26", 28" yes, they are cheaper then the better DRs & they recover quick, i WISH i could find some on here, it sucks, not too many have the 16" stickies, but the 15" are readily available used. I'm wanting to be ready come a week from this Friday & get this damn car back in the 13s where it belongs lol, going from 13.7s too 14.5s really hurts the ego if you know what i mean. So if anyone has any decent used 255-50-16 ET streets, let me know.

I liked the M/T's better than the Hoosires BUT I had an A4 and 3600 stall. I can see how a 6 speed would do some different things so you might wanna check with what the 6 speed guys are saying.
