Default Trunk mount battery wiring?

If I run a battery in the trunk what is the minium size wire from the starter to my junction block? I'll be using 1 /0 gauge welding wire from the battery to the junction box..... any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

I ran a 2 gauge in my 69 firebird and it worked great. the voltage drop was only .25v. You must run the same size ground wire to the engine block, nopt the chassis. The + wire is only as good as the - wire and vis versa.

I used two 4 awg wires (mainly because I already had one going from front to back for an amp)

go to your local boneyard and find the newest BMW you can find....they have a VERY nice trunk mounted battery setup, with a nice distribution block in the engine compartment suitable for all your power needs
