Removing stock cat back?
I was trying to pull my cat back off today to install my Hooker one and for some reason I can't get the thing out. I jacked up the car really high and no matter what I do I can't get it out. I'm thinking about just taking a saw to it.
Is there anyway to get it out without cutting it?

yes its possible but not the simplest thing to do. you will have to put a jack under the pumpkin of the rearend. then take off the pass side wheel, undo and remove the sway bar, remove the pass side shock, and undo the lower control arm on the pass side. then lower the rearend down. You should then be able to slide the over the axle pipe into the wheel well and work it out of the car in one piece. This is how I got mine out in one piece.

I took off the upper and lower panhard bars, passenger side spring, shock and wheel and let the rear end lower some and worked it off it took an hour or so and its easy

Yeah I was thinking that same thing.. Nobody in their right mind would pay that for a stock cat back. Going price for a used stock Cat back is more like $50-$75. Go look up the price for the stock LCA's and Panhard bar at the dealership you can't even give those parts away used.. lol!
