acc. to the gm book, the 01 ls6 cam was 207/217, .525 lift, the 02-04 ls6 cam was 204/218, .550 lift
not really sure what they did in 07, a guy in the parts dept should be able to do specs, if he wants
there should be a part # on the cam, that will help zero in on the specs

your missing alot of key info... what kind of car is it? Boost... tc or sc? any other mods? Stock cam now? How many psi do you want?
I did a ls6 cam w/ my 99 camaro turbo setup, id does well. Its not the best out there, but for a cheaper build its nice. I hope you already have aftermarket springs... or are atleast planning on them.
I was told there is a difference between the pre 01 and 02 and after ls6 cams, but not sure if thats true (or even if it was those years). And with the newer ones something had to be done to make it work. Its been a while since ive looked into it, so i dont remember the details.
If you do decide to do it, you should really do the oil pump & timing chain. Dont skimp on that stuff. Your in there, you might as well do it assuming you havent already.

You probably want at least comp 918's or a dual value spring (Patriot Duals are really good), so basically it would be $150 for the cam. Im not sure if you will see 30 rwhp increase with the LS6 cam, but if thats the route you want to go its better than the stocker. As others have suggested id get a custom grind from one of the sponsors and if you dont mind a little lope/choppy idle id get something in the 22X/22X range. JMO and good luck with the build!
