Default Results from irwindale (1/8 mile)

I have never been to the track before and figured it would be a good day to go get some runs in. Once I get everything straightened out for tech and I sign in I get to the tree for my first run.

I didn't do any burnouts, as I was on street tires (bfg KDWS) and I heard that it really doesn't do anything for you.

My first run I just slip the clutch and spin, but not to badly. I get my timeslip and here is what it is:

R/T ... 1.340
60' ... 2.448
330 ... 5.920
1/8 ... 8.770
MPH ... 85.19

Not bad for my first run. That converts to a 13.5-13.6. I was pretty happy.
I have the mph to go low 8s but I can't hook up for ****.

Fun time though, can't wait to go again

My friend with his mom's V6 Camry ran a best of 9.5 at 7x mph.
Pretty fun car and the crowd absolutely loved it.

not bad for a first run. I must be getting old because it just doesn't seem right to hear a Camry even in the 9's.

Im not a "hater" but the fact the crowd loved the camry makes me sick! Camry is a practical car, i have had way too much of practical... keep boring cars at home....
