Default My Painted LS6 Intake

Just got done installing my LS6 intake......last night i sprayed it with white and cleared it as well. The valve covers are painted white too, about a year ago, doesn't look as good as the intake but I'm happy with it all. I also sanded and smoothed the runners down and sanded and smoothed the inlet of the intake. Enjoy

Looks good. You know if it ever starts to pick up oil and dirt that pretty intake is going to be one tough cookie to clean.

It's just regular engine hot rod white spray paint from the local parts store.

I really like that white, but like stated, it's gonna suck to clean.

yup by hand, started with some rough sand paper and just worked my way down to 600 grit or so, took some time but well worth it.

That intake looks good. Now that the intake stands out it makes your fenderwells stick out like a sore thumb. A washrag with some degreaser and your home free.

Looks like a big *** frosty ice cube sitting in the middle of your engine bay! Nice job smoothing it out but that white is going to look rough after a year or so.

That looks damn nice. I just got done putting heads and cam in and was thinking about doing that with everything out. Some some reason I talked myself out of it. After seeing that is making me want to do it again, lol. Great job.

There was a thread in appearance recently on the white rattle can on intake. alot of people chimed in and said it yellowed very quickly when they started driving it.

If that happens, hit me up..white powdercoating doesn't yellow
