battery relocation kit available many places like jegs, summit, etc. you'll have to make a new ground. i think most people put it in the spare tire well. Do a search, you'll find plenty of info

There's a kit on ebay I bought, only thing I needed was a length of 12ga wire to run to the distribution block. Everything was very well put together.

I relocatted my battery to the rear the other day. I used 2 ga wire to the rear directly to the battery. And 2 ga for the ground in the rear. I am now having trouble with it wanting to start. Like it will click a few times then turn over kinda sluggish. I tested my ground and what not and its all good. I even added an additional 2 ga ground from the block to the front sub frame. That didn't help. So I suggest going with a bigger positive wire than I did. Unless I am just doing something wrong. It cost me 60 bucks for 25ft of cable and a battery box and a few ends.

Ihasflp, Is you battery in good condition with enough CCA'a , A 15ft run of 2 ga wire drawing 200 amps will drop the voltage about 1 volt. Going to a 1/0 ga would drop it .6V , not a significant improvement. A good battery should hold 9 or higher volts when cranking, weaker ones will drop lower, that plus the 1v additional drop may be what causing slow cranking. Also could be starter motor getting old and drawing a little more than when new.
