AC Compressor "delete" bypass pulley
So I bought this bypass pulley because my a/c compressor took a crap last year. I figured what the heck, i didn't want to get a new compressor since I don't use the air in the car anyways.
So I bought this bypass pulley and it's the biggest POS ever. It sweeks all the time. After a WOT blast and things are whining down the thing will start screaming, or if it's real humid out it will start squealing real bad. I thought maybe I had a bad belt, but it's a brand new gatorback by good year. What I think it is, is since this bypass pulley is plastic it's either drying out the belt, or it's the rubber belt on plastic, that just makes a squealing noise.
I checked all the bearings on each pulley on the car, they are all fine, and it's not the alternator, so I know it's this POS bypass pulley. Damn I wish I never chucked the old broken a/c compressor.
Does anyone have any ideas? Do they make an underdrive pulley in place of the old a/c pulley, or any other metal/steel pulleys in place. Or if anyone has a a/c compressor they don't need or if yours is broken even pm me for a price. I just have to get this bypass **** off the car, it's getting embarrassing.

The pulley is just plastic tho. Is the 1LE's plastic? Either way I'm sure it's quality vs what I have. Where can I find a 1LE bypass pulley? Thanks man, that's good advice.

Ok good deal man, I've got someone already inline if I buy a compressor. I'm going to try the GM 1LE replacement pulley first tho. That's how I feel too Merv, can't go wrong with an OEM product vs whatever I have right now lol.
Thanks again everyone for the input.
