I know the quality is really bad But it still gives some idea of how it sounds and runs. The tach looks like ~7k but in reality I'm reving to 6600.

anyone have the specs on the 847 cam? any chance you could scan and post up your cam card? is it much more aggressive than the LT4 hotcam? just curious. oh, and by the way, it is very attractive to find a girl who is into cars also.

Thanks, no dyno numbers yet. I'm hoping it will put down ~370rwhp or so though. It feels about the same as my friend's cammed LS2 GTO that put down a little over 400 at the wheels.
Yes that is me :p
They are stock heads that were lightly ported by hand by a local guy here. I have no idea what they flow but should be a bit better than stock.
If you search you can find a lot of info on the cam, but the basic specs are 234/242 duration, .575/.595 lift with 1.6 rockers, 112 lobe sep. Opinions vary across the board on this cam, but in general it is known to work very well for a lot of people.
lol... I live in the midwest but not KS.
I agree, it's best suited to ported heads and a bottom end that can withstand high revs. With good heads it will make power to over 7k
Thanks

well ive got some really awsome heads that were built by MTI. in fact, my whole top end was built by MTI, and the lower end was taken apart and upgraded rod and main bolts and bearings installed. just need to stroke the lower end with some forged components and call it good. but may go to a larger cam in the process, and love the lope of that 847, so may throw it in there while im at it. also may procharge to crank out some serious numbers.

Nice I wanted to do the 847 cam, but got a really good deal on a CC306 and Comp R lifters so I went that route. My car really starts to pull about 3500 and pulls like that till my rev limiter which is at 7K I'm also on stock rods and crank with SRP forged pistons, but the mains are studded and I installed ARP rod bolts and I'm using a 10% higher volume oil pimp and a 7 quart oil pan.
Nice car I'd be interested in what your putting down to the wheels. I'm hoping for 400+ but I've got a ported intake and LE3 heads. Sounds good what are the specs on the exhaust and do you have any pics of it?

No leg humping here, but im very impressed you rev match your downshifts
You wont belive how many people ive had to show how to do that, even some that have been driving a stick car for years!

HAHA yeah shifting was really good, and she's wearing sandles. I can't drive my car unless I'm wearing the right shoes, tried to drive it with steel toed shoes and it was horrible. I felt like a complete *** leaving work
