Default 2 newbie question

I tried doing a search on these topics, but had no luck finding the answer.

I realize in general that with a turbo setup, the throttle response is kind of lazy especially on 91 or 93 octane due to having to retard the timing. I was curious with the msd BTM, does that help with the low end throttle response when your off the boost because the msd btm only retard the timing once it sense an increase in boost pressure?

Do you guys prefer locking out your timing or setting it high and pulling it with a Msd Btm box?

well since the BTM only pulls timing as it sees boost it should work out for ya. But on the flip side a properly matched up turbo won't be lazy at all. Gimme a call lets mull it over.
