Default She's alive!!!!

Well after months of planning, working and spending butt loads of money my car is once again running. I got everything finished and fired up. Still needs to be tuned though so I'm still holding my breath a little. It's been a busy winter/spring/summer. The project fell behind right off the bat due to parts not coming when they should have but that's another story. Here's the mods I've done since last fall.
Convert from T400 to 4L80E
Swap patriot heads for ETP's
Swap factory PCM for BS3
Swap Vic Jr for LS2 intake
Swap NW TB for Holley TB
Added ATI damper, OFI turbo kit with S91 turbo, MSBC boost controller, alky control dual nozzle meth kit
Wow on paper it doesn't look like much but let me tell you it took way way longer then I ever expected. I ran into so many hang ups it's not even funny. Here are some pics. The car needs a good bath for sure. I decided about half way that I wasn't worried about the car being in top show condition right now and needed to focus on getting it running. Once I clean it, get all my polished covers on and redo some wiring it should look alot better. I'll have a billet grille over the intercooler as well.

Are you going to get the pipes coated? Underhood heat will be pretty bad without it. It was i think around $1000 to coat every last bit of a ofi kit we installed, this was with jethot2000.

I originally ordered them coated for that reason but it didn't work out. Over the winter I'm either going to send them out to be coated or swap my hot parts out to a KY turbo manifold kit. I don't like how tight the OFI headers are for my plugs and wires at all. I have tall valve covers and ETP heads to make it even worse. Here's a couple pics of the whole dirty car.

Don't you think that your oil reservoir is gonna melt there? At least it looks like some sort of reservoir. With the open top.

Looks like he removed the ABS module and didn't want brake fluid going all over the place.

looks and sounds like a nice setup

I'm pretty sure those wires won't last to long though even with the heat wrap/boots.

Looks good! I feel your pain as we both went through the same “set backs with a certain company” lol

Dammit Larry now I'm gonna have to try and fix that somehow. The cup is full of brake fluid. I had to redo that line and was draining it. I pulled the fuse box up and the hot lug hit the brake line, sparked, blew a hole in the line and took fire. It was just a small one but still sucked.

It's a great looking kit it's just too tight for what I'm after. Plus I figure I can sell it and get a truck manifold setup and have a little $$$ leftover to finish the project.

I couldn't find an elbow that I liked for the vic jr. The nitro dave elbow cleared but has a pretty good pinch point. I didn't like the others since they didn't clear. Plus with an
LS2 I can still run my STB lol
