NOT just another cam thread.... Is there a mathematical way to determine what the powerband of a cam is (more or less) based on things like the lsa, duration, and advance? For some reason I have the drive to come up with a custom cam spec or two and am trying to figure out how everyone does it... assuming they don't just take some random numbers and slap 'em together...

Re: NOT just another cam thread.... Intake valve closing point determines power range. For example, cams with an intake closing point of 45 degrees ABDC generally have a 3000-6600 rpm powerband.
