Will a harmonic balancer help the motor live longer? My tuner said yes, just wondering before i shale out 400$ on one. This is a stock 5.3 with an s475 and EPP FI cam. I was just gonna run the stock balancer and not worry about it and when she blows she blows

Having the correct balancer and having it balanced right will. Just changing to another balancer no.

^^^Yea and $400 is high too! I paid like $198 for my March UD and it's a fluid damper. I like the ATI's too.
