Are your only mods the ones listed in your sig? If so, I think the Z needed the driver mod...

Well, I see a cam listed in his signature. The SS is more than likely making more horsepower, but the Vette has the weight and aerodynamic advantage, the latter increasing in importance as your speed increases.

Nevermind. I thought the title said C6 Z06. I didn't realize it was just a C5Z. Ok it all sounds right now. I thought we were talking about Ls7 Z which would have more rwhp and less weight. With his H/C setup I would guess he has 420 rwhp give or take a few.

It takes about 380 rwhp in an F-body to outrun a stock C5 Z06 from 0-100 (assuming both drivers are similarly skilled). With his mods I see that as doable.

i have the cam but have yet to install it...gotta finish my exhaust, all i need is a tune than the cam comes next :devil:

Just wait and get the car tuned once the cam is installed so that way you arn't paying 2 times for a tune.
On the race note that sounds like a bought right for a race.
