Default Did my first 3-2 Shift

Coming off the bridge slight down hill decided to have a little fun and let into it and climbed the rpms in 3rd wanted to go to 4th but touched 2nd heard the tire lock up for a split second and smashed the clutch in.

Iv heard stories of it but never experienced it. First time hopefully the last.

No SES light or funny noises im just glad nothing broke. Its funny how your senses go nuts when you know you screwed up.

Pull the pushrods out and check them ASAP. Trust me.

Took my car a week after the incident before the ticking started.

EDIT: this post is assuming you're running a stock vavletrain

Yikes, I did that once a while back. I thought for sure I destroyed everything in the car when those tires locked up, even though it was only for a split second. The only difference I noticed afterwards was that the rear suddenly began to whine at different RPMs than it had previously and a little bit louder, but it's been like a year and I've not seen or heard any other symptoms, so it seems to be fine. A beefed up valvetrain and drivetrain probably saved me.
