Default Exhaust Poll, Keep Magnaflow bullets or without?

Like it says, Notes- Mac mids, magnaflow cats, Flowmaster Y, LM1 , Magnaflow bullets, CME. The most complicated exhaust ever! AKA "Frankenhaust"
It's ok, but not as aggressive as it was without them. I was just trying to keep the levels down to keep from getting unwanted attention!
here they are

His exhaust is a modified LM1 , He could remove the resonator but that would just make it louder and have more rasp.

I think it sounds good in both sets of video. And the Tips have got to be my favorite!

Yes cats flow Y, LM1 and magnaflow bullets. The video doesnt do just the LM1 justice. Bascally im looking for the same sound before i added the magnaflow muffs just a bit quieter on the the top end. I thought the magnaflows would take the edge off it, but they cut the sound levels in half. So trying to decide to leave em, take em off, or take em off and change the LM1 for a LM2 or Dynomouth set up.

I say even though it is a bit of work I would Have the lm1 resonator taken out and maybe have it set up with v-band clamps so you can exchange as your tastes change. after that you could have a few different setups made
that you could change as you wish without constatly cuting your exhaust up.
Maybe even have a n electric cutout put in place of the lm resonator so you could have total control.

Heavy maybe im just looking for the right combination.I did think about the V band thing to swap out muffs but would have to have a V-band welded on every muffler i try and that would kill the resale value.

i just put those same bullets on with an h-pipe. they sound awesome. not as loud as i thought they would be, but it has a very nice refined sound. and gets loud at wot. i say keep them. i love the way they sound.

I prefer the more refined sound with the bullets. It would sound better a little louder, but everything is a trade-off.

blown03mustang has a point, you can have both with a cut-out.

Cut out is too raspy, in my opinion. Looks like LM2 my be my next bet. Bullets make the car sound stock. Not bad but definitely not like a camaro should sound. Its like a truck, like a F-150 ford to be exact i started my car in the parking lot yesterday and then a guy started his Ford F-150 and swear it was the same. Gotta change it but not sure what too just yet.
