Default any need for cutouts still?

well im about to order my true dual setup..already have one cut out, i was about to order another..just curious to as if i'll even need them, being that i'll be running dynomax bullets.. being that there wont be restriction for the exhaust since i wont be running mufflers or cats..is there still a need to really run 2 cut outs? and i doubt having the cutouts open or closed would make a difference,or am i wrong?

thanks for any help.

yeah with you having true duals, there really wont be a need for cutouts... I think the really only come in handy when you run a full catback exhaust, and even then sometimes the muffler you use still flows good enought that you wouldnt need a cutout.

I wouldn't bother putting them on with true duals considering how they will flow more than enough as is well depending on your power level of course. Would sound better without cutouts open anyway IMO.

The power gain would be minimal to nothing, nothing worth spending the money on two cutouts/welding anyways.

my only reason for putting on cutouts on true duals is to drown out the lame bass boom when a gay tuner rols up next to me

If running bullets you won't notice a difference. I went from a flowmaster catback with a cutout, to replacing my cutout with a bullet and getting rid of the flowmaster and taking the pipe out the back. Its just as loud, just out the back instead of dumped under the car, and not having to uncap a cutout.

True dauls will sound much better than open headers

My open Y pipe with long tubes was just rasp, it sounded good only at WOT

Other than that, it sounded like ****

With my true dauls on, the car had alot more tone and sounded much cleaner but it was still LOUD
