I got 125K on mine completly stock when i bought her. After adding some bolt ons and a tune the only thing i worry is the trans. dont know how long it's going to hold especially when i put a stall tc in. if you got a m6 you got nothing to worry about for sure

I still wouldn't worry much. The problem is, if you couldn't afford to buy a nicer car, how are you going to afford to keep up with this one?

Like it has been said, if it was serviced, then I wouldn't worry too much.

t56's break just as easy... espicially with unexpierenced drivers. It is actually harder around here to find a car with that mileage that has a perfect shifting everything t56

you can modify the motor...while its apart you can inspect to see how the internals are. building it up and rebuilding it can be done at the same time.

actually, i would recommend it. new heads, cam, lifters, pushrods, pistons...will give you a more solid motor.

with the miles, id just save up for another shortblock, have it freshened up, install the parts you want to run... then swap them out... then your car wont be down for a long period of time

it just depends. these things will take some abuse as long as you keep them oiled and change rod bolts. you could even just buy a low mileage shortblock and just bolt stuff on, change the oil pump and then go to town

Got her for 5900 out the door. interior is almost spot less, only wear is the shifter **** and pedals. Exterior paint is oxidized on the hood and spoiler. Need the right front fender repaired and the rocker panel (looks like they ran something over). The wheels have some minor curb rash on the edges.
