Default Need help with procharger

I installed MTI Stage 2 241 heads and TR Cheatr cam. I was making 9#s of boost before with a 3.5 pully. I am making 5-6#s of boost after the H/C swap. What size should get me back to 8#s. I have the old style procharger kit on my C5.

I would tune it before trying to increase your boost. You could very well be making more power with less boost with the added heads and cam. Something to think about. Stick it on the dyno to find out.

It sounds like you have a P-1SC head unit. I wouldn't go any smaller than a 3.4" pulley as you would more than likely end up having belt slippage problems. You could always go to an overdrive harmonic balancer to spin the blower faster. Innovators West makes this balancer. Bob

Spade- I did tune the car but not on the dyno just on the street. The car does pull harder but I still want to get the most before I head to the dyno. Thanks for the advice

EPP- Thanks for the help. I will try the 3.4 pully hopefully it gets me where I need to be.
