Default Head Swap - Problems.....

Finished up the head swap today....

I have what sounds like a miss on a cylinder, and it's overheating. Took about 3 quarts of coolant. I dont see any smoke from the exhaust, and there is no water in the coolant.

Any ideas???

Are all the plug wires on securely?

How did you vent the radiator when refilling the coolant? Might be air still in the system.

Yep... all the plug wires are on.

It stopped.

Turned it off to let it cool down... start it back up... ran decent. Threw a code... so I probably forgot to connect a sensor or my 02 wire is laying up against the header again. Went for a drive... and it was misfiring like crazy. Headed back to the shop... almost pulled the plugs to check them... said screw it and went home. It cleared itself up on the freeway. Did it one more time when I stopped for gas... otherwise its running fine.

They arent the greatest plug... Autolite standards. Only thing I could find in stock today, and I had to get my car out of the shop.

I thank Autotuner for hooking me up and letting me take care of everything there.
