What are the benafits of a foam guy? Is it so you dont get the soap all dirty?

I am wondering too...can you put regular car wash in it?

And the recommended PSI...is that typical water hose strength?

Any car shampoo will work but some foam better than others. Typical house pressure generally works fine.

I use mine for a pre-soak prior to a two-bucket wash if the car is really dirty or I'll just use it by itself if the car is just dusty. The foam gun won't clean a really dirty vehicle by itself since it's not high pressure.

This is a pretty good deal from tropi-care.

Exactly.

the gun is designed for use with normal hose pressure. it has variable flow adjustments so you can use different soaps in it, based on their recommended mixing ratio.

Response has been very good to this offer. In addition, customers will get samples of our "SPARKLE" Car Wash Concentrate for their use.

This heavy duty gun offers 5 different ratio settings from 1 ounce to 12 ounces of concentrate per gallon of foam solution. Other foaming chemicals can be used for more than car washing. Other uses include degreasing and disinfecting as well.

Normal home water pressure between 40-90 psi(optimum 40-60psi) is suitable for use.

The purpose of the foam gun soap solution pre-soaks the remaining dirt after lightly rinsing to remove the loose dirt. After the soap surrounds this dirt for several minutes, you will still have to make light physical contact using the wash mitt to break the electro-static bond which holds this dirt on the paint.

Received this today. This is not some Home Depot plastic thing that is going to break right away. It's heavy-duty.

Once the tropical storm passes, I might even get a chance to use it.
