I have lontubes, no cats, x-pipe, and magnaflows right before the tips. I love how mine sounds, almost an exotic V-8 rasp. But if I had to go for the throatiest sounding I would say Corsa gets it done pretty well.

H-pipe, dynomax bullets dumped. Sounds VERY Deep, and less rasp than an X-pipe set up.

GMMG unique sound compared to any catback out there. Hands down when you hear it in person on a car with headers you will be smiling from ear to ear. Im saving to get it.end of story.

might sound wired...but a tsp rumbler is the best thing ive heard under 500 bucks.... its not stainless steel though but its not expensive. its like 225 bucks or something stupid. i had one on my car with no cats and it was awesome.... its a direct copy of the slp loumouth but they put a dynomax bullet in there instead... gmmg is good stuff but its an *** raping on price.... i seriously do not see why they charge so much other than they can because people pay it. you can get two chambered mufflers for 80 bucks and the bends are not all that complicated... i do believe that gmmg sounds great dont get me wrong i just think that it is waaaaay over priced....as far as rasp goes a good smooth y pipe merge will take care of most of it.......

I've got Kooks 1.75 with an ORY and a Corsa catback. The Corsa by itself with stock manifolds is amazing. The ORY killed the sound with rasp all over the place. I'm guessing your cats are gone as well. Most likely that's the problem. Spending more $ for another setup is risky. I installed a stainless Moroso Spiralflo in the Y and rasp was reduced 95%. I've heard of two causes for rasp. 1 is the sound is crashing at the Y merge and 2 the cats honeycomb helps break up the exhaust pulse.
My next option would be installing Dynatec cone inserts at the header merge. I think it acts similar to the honeycomb of a cat yet without the HP loss because of the greater surface area. Plus no fitment issues........just my .02

if you run LT and CATS i would run GMMG all day long. if want to run LT and ORY i would say either borla adjustable or corsa. personally i like LT ORY and slp dual/dual(not loudmouth) but alot people think it's to quiet. on the inside it's quiet but on the outside at WOT it sounds awsome!
