Getting CTS-V Calipers to Fit
Hey guys I have a 97 Z28 that I want to upgrade the brakes on.
I want to run a CTS-V caliper up front, probably with the 14" corvette rotor to fit.
These will be behind C5 Z06 replicas in a 18x9.5
Will they fit? What needs to be done?
Ive read up on the two big CTS-V caliper threads and it was a little too much info all at once and I got pretty confused.
Should I replace my spindles with the LS1 spindles, or can something easier be done.

The last two pages of both those threads have all the information you need.
In short, they won't work without spacers in the front (pretty big ones at that).
A minimum 18" wheel is required.
If you had a custom wheel made, with thin spokes pushed all the way to the lip, then maybe they would fit without spacers.
