Default My Custom console

I modded my center console top for a Garmin GPS unit, relocated my 2nd button and filled in the cup holder notch. oh yeah I also wrapped it in leather

Ill give some progress pics ut wont do any type of in depth process cuz it was a bitch and took awhile.

Stock:

Everything cut and in place:

Progress:

Sanded:

Lil bit more progress:

End result wrapped in leather:

Seems small but from the drivers seat and the angle it is in perfect view. Hope you like it. I am going to be getn a matching shift boot and console lid. Also trying to get somthing made in stainless for the cup holder.

very nice, all it needs is something on the right side to even it out, everything is all to the left

wow, that looks pimp.

the first few pics i looked at i kinda thought "here we go again, another hack job" but then i saw the final pics and was impressed.

i would put the cig lighter on the right to keep the oem look.

whats going into that switch opening? tcs?

Thanks for all the nice comments. It took me awhile to complete this and I wasnt sure if ppl would like it since it on the standard 3.5in screen. I put everything to the left side because the shifter would have been in the way if it was in the center. I would like to add somthing to the right side but IDK what to add besides a switch.

Good and bad keep em coming!

Ill get a pic installed shortly. I still have to wrap the console lid but ill get a pic anyway w/o it.

-Also I wanted to note that I got the material from a local shop that does cuztom car interiors. Its not really leather as real leather wouldnt have stretched to the extent I needed it to go (In the cup holder until the 1st lip) But It looks exactly like leather and has a great smooth soft feel to it.
