I Got Accepted!!
Well, as many of you know, I have been seeking a job in law enforcement. However, the first step to becoming a Police Officer is to get certified through the Police Academy.
Today, I received a phone call from the Gainesville Police Academy telling me I was accepted!!!!!!!!!! I am stoked to say the least!
I am so incredibly happy right now, and I could not ask for anything more.

And ALLMOTOR, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. It is not too late to submit an application to the Valencia academy for their October class.

Congrats. I would probably start applying with agencies shortly after you start seeing the hiring process can take up to 6 months with some agencies. They're gonna throw a ton of **** at you while you're there, but just like anything else that requires schooling, you really learn the job once you start doing it.

I plan on pursuing something in law enforcement when my time in the Navy begins to come to an end. I want to be a State Trooper as of right now. I dont want to deal with domestic disputes and the other crap local LEOs have to deal with

congrats. Live in The Estates up there. Soooooo many freakin' girls live there, I was livin' the life at that apartment complex. Always parties, pool parties, nice b-ball court, covered parking, gated, and all utilities are part of the rental cost (no separate water, electric, cable, internet, ect)
