General Maintenance & Repairs - Car wont start! Need Help ASAP!!

Ok I just bought a 2000 WS6 yeasterday. Drove it and felt ok, no major problems, fired right up every time. Then I got it home. First time i tried starting it up..nothing!! Battery is fine, batt cables had a lil corosion on them so cut a lil off and put a new end on the cables ans still nothing! I few times last nght I would have to turn the key over, let it roll a lil then put it in park then it would fire up, but now it wont even do that. Its an auto by the way. Im just frustrated as i can be and need some help, dont know where to start or what to check. thanks guys

Need more of a description. Does it click? Does the starter turn over? How do you know the battery is good? Did you go have it checked? If it is just clicking then your battery is dead, it wouldn't suprise me that someone would put in a junk battery with a few more starts in it before selling it. People today suck.

The car does nothing, doesnt crank.. The battery doesnt click, I checked it. Its gettin 12volts. Im beginning to think it may be something to do with the keys and the ignition, maybe their goin bad or went bad???
