um... kinda not sure what you're asking. I tuned my coupe with A4 and a 150 dry shot. I didn't have much of any lean spike... I also didn't make it a habit of spraying 1st gear. At the strip, I'd start spraying near the top of 1st.
I did pull a little timing under spray (using Robert56's method of g/cyl) but was pretty much dead on at 11.5 afr.

Same here, being i dont have a MAF i scanned a few runs to see where my g/cyl #'s were. Then i pulled timing accordingly from 2800 rpm and up.
I use a wideband for a/f ratio.

I also run SD but was wondering what kind of AFR # u get with NOS thru low gear with NOS on. I know we usually get a spike from when NOS comes on. I know we can get a little leaner thru low gear because of less load on motor. Got any scans of NOS with HP Tuners to look at?

No i do it separately with a handheld wideband. I had a spike once last week up to like 13 or something but after that just dropped to mid to low 11s where it stayd.
How far are your fuel and n20 solenoids from the nozzle or plate? They recommend under 18" to eliminate or lower the spike so to speak.

I'll have to look. I don't think I kept any. I sold the car several months ago. I'm sure I still have the tune file though.

well, that would leave me out. Never shot off the line. Traction was a problem in 2nd, much less 1st.

When I first jetted my TNT F1 kit for 150 it would spike to 15:1 for about 30mSec then right to 11.8 afr. I lengthened one of the nitrous nozzle lines by 12" and never had any other lean spike from it. The Dyno Tune and HSW kits I've put on never really had enought time to look/noticed any lean spikes as they were 100hp or lower shots.
