there is a clicking noise when i accelerate in my 2002 camaro ss in any gear. The sound comes and goes, but it is mostly there.

more high pitch, but ya something like that. its only when accelerating hard, not when normally driving.

when my 10 bolt broke, it made a clicking noise, but did it all the time. My pinion gear was missing some teeth. At highway speeds, the clicking became more of a whine, esp bad when going up a hill. Best bet would be to remove your cover and inspect.

its only been happening for the last 6 months. I really dont drive the car that hard.
im gonna flush the differential this week too as it makes noise when turning slowly.
