Default 2.73 to 3.42

Hey Guys,

Was thinking of giving my vette a little more kick!

She's putting down 350rwhp/360rwtq. I have no idea what it runs in the 1/4, but on a 90deg day at 2000ft elev it ran a 4.7 0-60.

I don't plan to race it, but I think the gearing is robbing some performance?

Should I...

1.) Add 2800 stall and keep 2.73?
2.) Go with 3.42 only?
3.) Add 2800 stall and 3.42?

Have some concerns about traction? Also, will 3.42 lower my top speed potential or improve it. I hear 2.73 won't pull the .70 4th gear, but the 3.42 will.

Thanks!
al

Go with more gear and stall it if you want to.

I went from 2.73 to 3.42.. 3.42 is a good choice. It has great manners on the street.
