Street Racing & Kill Stories - Bolt On z28 VS Turbo SN95 Cobra

Went to hang out with some buddies last night. A buddy of mine that I hadn't seen for quite some time just happened to be there. Last I saw him he had just got his Cobra. It came with boost ready with an already installed low compression forged motor. The Cobra is still not set up best to suppost the boost as it still has 4.10's and his fuel system needs to be upgraded some more. It has A LOT more potential in it. Anyways we both go to leave and basically live in the same area about 20 mins away. So on the way back we mess around some. He blows past me a few times with the wastegate dumping off right next to me. After the last time he did i slapped it into second and shot past him. So we finally get a real nice piece of empty road. I am in second around 45-50 and i believe he was in 3rd. I honk 3 times and we go. I got a decent jump out on him, maybe around 3/4 a car. At around 90 we are dead even, after that it was all him. At 120 he was around 1.5 cars ahead of me and i shut it down as he had made his point. I was happy with the results. Next time i see him that car will probably be making at least another 100rwhp.

Good run! Those Cobras can be NASTY with turbos. Definitely watch out for him once it's setup right.

Once it is set up right I'll need more than that. But, believe me i thought about it. It came down to that or NFL Sunday Ticket and I love football to much.

Then go 150 shot. If all you have is bolt'ons, you car should be ok with a 150 shot.

Pending the cobra's setup.....he would be eaily over 500rwhp when all said and done.

I woudl have love to have seen that.....both cars runnin' down the highway that is....had to have been a nice sight to see.

Yeah 500rwhp easily, i was thinking closer to 600.
