Header banging
So i just installed my headers the other day and as soon as i drove away when i take off it feels like something is banging or grinding by the floor board. I can only feel it in my gas pedal. Does anybody have any idea what this could be. I think it might b the y pipe but not sure. Any help is greatly helpful

Ok good i thought thats what it was. I heard that there is a bracket thing you can buy that keeps it from doing that but i wasnt sure where to get it. If you figure it out you should pm what it was and wht you did to fix it. Thanx

Get poly motor mounts.. Stock motor mounts are soo soft when you get on the throttle the engine moves all over the place which moves the entire exhaust system with it. Others go with the band aid and get mufflex bump stop but all that is doing is using your exhaust to stop the engine movement essentially making your exhaust a motor mount and masking the real problem.

Could we stop listening to the advice of people outside of the internet? Just because someone had an IROC in the 80's doesnt mean they know anything about fbodys. And to all you muffler shop owners: Shut up and put the freakin exhaust on my car. I don't want to hear your stories of backpressure and the guy who wanted 3" pipes back in the 70's. Nor do I want to hear your recommendations for what I outa do with my "350." Do not make me hurt you. Do you hear that? Its a cam... Yes, that means I am brave enough to work under the hood of all that "computer stuff and hoses and wires." You still think you can teach me something, mister muffler shop man???

Checkout this Y-Pipe bump stop hanger. This fixed my exhaust from rubbing under the car.
