Default Cam Install part list

Ok tonight I placed an order through summit for a cam install.

Here is my list:
ARP-134-7103
CCA-07-503-8
CCA-1305-16
CCA-26918-16
CCA-4705-16
CCA-613-16
CCA-795-16
CEI-109011
FPP-1284
NAL-10128293
TFS-21407200
TFS-30400623-8
NAL-10128343

Are all these parts going to work together?

What valve stem seals should I get? Also, what spring compressor/hub puller(Preferbally one that you can find at autozone/oreillys) are you using?

Any common mishaps like tearing the oil pan gasket I should be aware of? Will I have to shim the valve springs, or are they the correct height out of the box?

The crane valve spring compressor will make the spring swap very easy, expensive tough.

You should go with the 614 locks instead of 613, 614 will give you +0.050 install height and should end up with around 1.75" instead of 1.70" which might be to tight.

Good luck and have fun

With the comp 503 cam is there enough lift for this to become an issue? On the speed-eng site this is the only 10* lock it had listed for a lt1, so I assumed it was right. I guess I should have done a little bit more researching.

If you're changing the valve springs in the car, get the Crane valve spring compressor. It'll be well worth it. Read the Cam swap tutorial on Shoeboxes site.

Yes, with a install height of 1.70" you are limited to .500 max lift and I believe the 503 is over .550 lift.

This is with stock valves and I assume you have stock valves

614 locks on summit

I think I was at 1.77-1.78" with the same hardware as you and the 614 locks, IIRC.

I was under the assumption that the lift was limited to .580 with the locks I ordered. I may have read it on another forum.

Anyways, looks like I'm going to have to send them back as soon as they get here

Also, whats the part number for valve seals?

I think that would be with the 614 locks if you end up with a 1.78" install height.
