If I were you id use the crane 1-10308 kit witht eh springs and locks. Itsa a good deal alot of guys on here have went that route. You can find it in summitt or jegs, or im sure one of our sponsors has it as well

All depends on where you want to shift your car at. For a lower end torque monster go for the 227. If you want a little more up top then go with the 503...and whatever you do don't call Comp Cam for help because they are dipshi*s over there. Either way you go I would go with some Crane valve springs.
Myself, I would go with the Crane set up. It's a well proven cam that flows great with stock heads.

They are both really different cams so you just need to figure out which one that suits you best. Want to keep a near stock redline, smooth idle, and have a strong low-mid range? or want something with a decently choppy idle, strong midrange and more top end with a 6300-6400ish shiftpoint. Both are among the best off-the shelfs IMO and both have awesome drivability and will pass emissions (cc503 w/ a tune) so either way you should be pleased.
I'd go the Crane 10308-1 Spring Kit route, ran them with the cc503 and they worked great, not to mention pretty cheap at $162.
