Well guys our first G8 arrived last Thursday from Kooks Custom Headers. Our customer had sent his G8 to Kooks to have them fabricate a complete stainless longtube/catted mid pipe/full catback system.

Now that we have the car we plan on taking it a few steps further ... We started today by baselining the G8 in less than stellar conditions.. IE 102* Air Temps in the dyno room.

SAE #s are 328/342 UNTUNED



As you can see its running 12.0 @ 5000rpm... We are looking forward to picking up some additional power with tuning.

Once we tune everything 100% in the current configuration we will be testing the first/ONLY G8 GT OTR CAI from Australia. We will baseline the OTR CAI and then tune it for optimal performance as well.

Then, the G8 hits the rack... Custom VRD Camshaft/Ported throttlebody/intake/Yank converter/Nitrous Outlet nitrous system/pulley and a few other goodies.

I will keep you guys posted on all of the results!!!

Wow!! I can't lie I'm a little jealous. I have a LS1 GTO A4 with full exhaust, cai, and predator. I'd be lucky to get those numbers after a dyno tune!! I have the Kooks Stepped Headers. I wonder if I should've just got the regular Kook 1 3/4.

Well, threads like these finally did me in. I went out yesterday and bought a red 2009 G8 GT. I went down today and picked it up. I picked it up with 5 miles on it at about 3:00and it currently has 112 miles on it

I've already had two races (my own 1994 LT1 and my buddies cammed 2002 TA), lol. Loving it!
