Default new stereo complete custom wiring need help removing old

I have a 2000 trans am I am removing the stock stereo wiring from I just need hep know where and what I can cut if you have pictures or a good how to please post them up. all help is apreciated.

Are you replacing the factory HU with an aftermarket HU?

yup factory headunit antena all speakers are being replaced and rewired.

just leave OEM wiring you gain nothing by taking it out u only make a mess

^^^Exactly. The stock harness is grouped with alot of other things so removing it would be more trouble then it's worth. My audio system is completely rewired but all the stock harness is still intact. This woul enable me to go back to stock if I ever wanted to sell the car.

the previous owner did a hack job when removing his stereo and the wires are kinda cut up as well. I realy wanna remove them and this is a fun toy / project so if removal takes time so be it just looking for some help.

they are intertwined into other harness', id just tape em back outta the way

my friends helped me pull almost all the stock wiring when we installed my car stereo. Whats left is behind the dash and the wire which leads to the doors.
Otherwise its all gone, and we wrapped the remote start, amp power wire, and new speaker wire where the stock wiring was so not a big deal.
