Default Keyless entry

For some reason, when i press the lock button on my keyfob the horn beeps twice instead of the normal once.

Any ideas?

It recently started happening

that's your alarm setting.
you may have changed the personal alert settings on your alarm system.

look in your manual. it's a weird process... but it is possible to do it on accident i suppose.

Also check all bulbs. Mine did that once and I had a tail light out.

i believe if both doors are unlocked it'll beep twice.. if only drivers side is unlocked it'll beep once. then again my car has been down for 5 months. cant remember... but try it.

that's it. lol.
because i kind've randomly unlock both doors or just one, that explains the random-ness of the beeps. i tried it, it's true. one beep per door.

although... the rear hatch counts as two doors with that theory. if it's open. and you activate the alarm, it won't beep until a few seconds after you close the hatch, and then it always beeps twice.
