Default Driveshaft swap...

Ok... I'm a newbie. I just swapped from the OEM 1-piece steel to a 1-piece OEM aluminum from a '98+ car. After I installed the new aluminum DS I thought it looked like it was a little short going into the trans? It does go in enough and it seems to be working fine. I'm still a little concerned about the gap (from memory, it seems like a larger gap than on the steel one)... Is this normal?

I have a '99 V6 with a GU6/G80 rear.

30 views and no replies? I thought this would be a pretty straightforward yes or no question... Seems fine to me, but I figured you guys would know best..
