Default Common issue????

So after I got my car about a year ago I did the throttle body bypass and the 160 thermo along with the other so called "free mods" and ever since the bypass and thermo were done my A/C doesn't work. Is this common? I'm thinking about rippin the thing out now

i have those two things done and my a/c still works. with the 160* stat it takes my car longer to warm up in the winter and my heater wont blow hot until the engines warmed up real well. thats the only side effect ive had.

i dont think that has anything to do with your a/c sorry buddy. check the fuses and r-134a. if its none of that have it looked for leaks or (hopefully not) the compressor

Good call on the fuse..far as leaks go I wouldn't think that would be the issue cause the a/c worked awesome before the mods..who knows though. Another reason I asked is a buddy of mine had the same problem after the same mods..just quit working for him too. Thanks.

It has nothing to do with those free mods. Check pressure, make sure you have no leaks, if no leaks and you DO have pressure, check to see if the compressor kicks on when you turn the ac button on.

Again, it has nothing to do with your free mods what-so-ever. ones is a cooling sytem with on rerouted hose, the other is an in cabin cooling system. they dont even interact with each other...
