Default Color number for Pewter touch up paint?

So I went to wal-mart and they didn't have a book, but i was desperate for some touch up paint. I bought some pewter that says gm on it. So i figure it'll match you know....

Duplicor NG GM 490 Pewter Metallic

Scratch Fix 2 in 1

So idk why it didn't match??? Too dark. Does anyone know the real number or perhaps my paint is just faded and it won't match?

I might stop by autozone or something later and see what their book says, but i figured i'd ask, i'm sure someone has some old touch up laying around

i believe there are two different shades of pewter that were acutally used on the camaros...pop open your glove box and the letter/number combination with WA### is your paint code...take that to an auto store and your good to go
