Default Will a LT4 intake bolt to a LT1

Was wondering if a Edelbrock Lt4 intake will bolt up to a lt1. I have a LT1 with Trick flow heads and was wanting to get the powder coated LT4 intake to put on it. I know i've seen on here that it will and that it won't work. Was wanting to know for sure before I bought one, or what it thats to get one to work. Any info on this would be great.

a REAL LT4 intake or even a replica that is designed the same will not seat correctly on a normal/stock design LT1 head. You'd have to have LT4 style heads in order for it to work.

that is true for "stock GM LT1 castings" but the Trick Flow heads have the valve cover rail raised up like an LT4 head and the LT4 intake will work on them.

I don't really know about the Edelbrock but you know the OEM LT4 is internally the same as the LT1. Might look into things a little more.

So why not just have the stock one powder coated? Wouldn't it be cheaper?
