Default just got my tc76

These things are tiny. I had to check the tag to make sure they sent the right turbo. The small size is going to help fit it into the cramped engine bay of my rx7.

Thanks Dr. Turbo for the good customer service.

Good stuff!

Deff Want more details about this build. I am thinking about doing the same thing.

FC/FD? Going with hinson's setup or a truck manifold setup? More details please, I am headed in the same direction with the exact same turbo.

Yea that turbo is a T4 (which are tiny reletaive to the monster borg warners pple are using out there which weigh about 55lbs! in T6 version lol) This TC76 weighs about 19-20lbs and its literally almost half the size lol Still good to ALOt of power though which is the best of both worlds

Yeah compared to our FI S-series and GT series turbos they are small. The 20lbs turbos are small nowadays.

FD. Had a motor with TSP ls6 heads, ms4 cam, fast90. Made 460whp, 400wtq. Spun a rod baring in that motor. Car ran good with this set up. Ran 11.5 @ 127 w/ a 1.98 60ft on Aziens street tires.

I was wanting a little more power, and better low speed street manors than the big cam set up, so decided to try a turbo for the next build.

The new set up is a forged 347, 317 heads, 9.2 scr, ls6 cam, ls6 intake. I am using Hinson's mount kit. I am going to build log style headers, down pipe, exhaust, and intercooler piping myself. I will also moddify the Hinson crossmember to fit a 4 inch down pipe, shouldnt take much.

the motor is back in the car now, but with out the turbo. I am going to wait till winter to start the turbo build. I dont want to waist the rest of the summer working in the garage.

Dont let the size fool you, it's a work horse. It took my 60000lb truck to 11.8.

As long as it can push a 2500-2700lb rx7 to 150mph trap speeds its way more than I ever need.
