QTP GM EFI Race #3 Results and Pics
This past Saturday we had out QTP GM EFI Race #3 at Raceway Park. The turn out was good for an August race. But the highlight of the race i the Quick Time 8. This is the only LSX Heads Up Class that i know of running in the country.
We had 8 very fast cars compete and it was a blast.
At the end of the day the winner was Rick (Firehawk441) in his 1994 Firemutt. Did a fantastic job keeping it over 9.99 to stay legal. First round of quailifing he ran 10.003 at 107 mph. Ya think he left off
Rick beat Edgar in the final round. You have to respect Edgar, he ran in like 5 races that day. How many passes did you put on that car on sat? Like 50??
Now for the pictures:
Rick doing what he does best. Like he said on sat "After the launch its boring"
Somebody needs a new rear
Rick coming down after reaching for the stars!
Ya new best for me 10.36@135.21 Best 60ft 1.468

One small correction Barry. There were 7 very fast cars and Pizzaboy, the Charity case.
Do you have all the qualifying ET's so we can show that guy where he qualified cause the thinks was 5th. He said to me after round 1 qual, there are two cars slower than me so I am 5th! LOL Math Stevie...it is a wonderful thing. Oh the cars he thought were behind him were Kyle who was actually quicker than him but he could not figure that out either and Barry with a 22 second cruise first pass.
It is a great event!!!

Thanks to QTP for putting this event on each year. We always have ALOT of fun and ALOT of trash talking. Thanks Andy for your camera work. That's the best I've ever seen Barry's car launch. Good thing Alex was there to help with the suspension. Edgar was kinda running a circle track he made Soooooooooo! many passes down the track and back down the return road. Your the man Edgar. Kyle ran with an empty bottle. I like what you did to your A/C duct. Charles had the type of day I had last time. SHITTY! Mark said **** on all of you, I'm not racing. I'll let him explain why. Congrats on getting your license though buddy! Steve came and duked it out with Edgar ALL day. Ken, well Ken left the track on his own power which is deffinatly a good thing. Posi doesn't look to good though. It's got to get better Ken. I don't know Edgars two friends with the white and silver c-5's but thanks for racing with us. I think the highlight of the race is when the track messed up the pro ladder and set us up with a sportsman ladder. This lined up Steve and Edgar in the first round. I'll let Edgar tell that story. Guys it was a blast like always. See ya in October.
