True Duals Over The Axle
Well I started an exhaust thread and it got moved into the gen 3 section so I thought I'd post the link for anyone interested.
Setup is hooker LTs into a 2.5" summit X pipe and then over the alxe on the passengers side into a daul in daul out magnaflow muffler with an internal X, then out in a 2OTL copy. All the piping will be semi gloss black including the tips. I almost got it all finished up last night but the welder was acting goofy and I was sick of the weld spatter burning my arms and I ended up being 1 90* bend short so I called it quits for the day. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have some time before work to get a little more done and mabye get the muffler on and start figuring out some hangers.
But anyway heres the link https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/956972-new-exhaust-underway.html
Let me know what you think weather its good or bad

Ok I'm going to be going out tomorrow to finish the exhaust finally. This time I'm actually going to do it LOL I'm finally over the damn cold that I had and have the whole weekend and its suppost to be really nice. So after its all welded together and checked for leaks I need to adjust my valves and I'll try to get a video made even though it probably won't do it any justice. But I'll take my digital camera that way there won't be any more fuzzy pics
So hopefully tomorrow I'll have a bunch of pics and mabye a sound clip or 2

Alright I got it probably 98% finished this weekend. All thats left is to finish welding the tailpipes (their only tack welded right now) and add a hanger on the drivers side, but I don't have my hanger any more
I'm kind of unsure on the tips right now, but the car is still 12" up in the air so I can't get a really good perspective, but I think they need to be cut back about 1/2"-1" becasue when you look at it from the back it looks like the tips stick out 3" but if you look straight down from the top you can't even see them because they are tucked back a little bit. Mabye the hanger on the drivers side will help since they are sagging down about 1.5"
But my camera was dead and it was too dark for my cell phone so you will have to wait until later this week for the pics. But I added an idle clip in the link at the top so feel free to check it out.
But all and all it has the sound of dumped bullets, but not so loud. Hopefully the muffler will get a little quieter as it breaks in, but it will probably get louder.
Thanks for following

I'm getting really impatient to drive this damn car again, its been 3 or 4 weeks since I have started the exhaust and now its super close to being done.
But I will have some good pics up on saturday so keep a look out for them

Ok sorry guys, my internet has been down the past few days and its finally back up. I had a couple of problems this weekend with the exhaust splitting at the clamps infront of the axle, but they are my old ones so mabye they are streatched and won't tighten tight enough anymore.
But when the exhaust stays together like its suppost to it sounds amazing. 6th gear I can hardly hear my exhaust over the gear wine haha yeah I'm still on the stock 10 bolt but it hates me. WOT sounds really good, but I'm not sure that its 100% what I want it to sound like, but the quiet cruising sound and no more drone is 100% worth my efforts so far.
I don't have time to take pics and upload them today, but I promise they will be uploaded tomorrow afternoon before I go to work. My car is really low after the spring install and I did scrape my headers going down the main highway by my parents, but I was going between 115 and 120 and hit a little swoop in the road and they barely touched so if I'm careful I should be ok.
But pictures tomorrow for sure...........

Hit the link in post # 12 and there are about 15 more pics.
I'm sick of the *** of my car sitting so high even after the heater hose mod and installing drop springs, so today I'm pulling them out and going at them with the grinder. I'm going to start with cutting half a coil off each side and go from there. The rear needs to come down at least .75" if not a full inch. I had the heater hose mod done with the stock springs and did it with the drop springs and only got 1/4" drop in the rear and 1.25-1.5" drop in the front. The front sits perfect IMHO but the rear needs to sit level with the front or a touch lower for me to like it
But check out the link and I'll more than likely have more pics tonight or tomorrow....
